Moving sneaks up on you. One day you’re casually browsing homes, and the next thing you know, you’ve got three weeks to pack up your entire life, and you’re staring at your garage wondering how you accumulated this much stuff. We get it because we’ve moved hundreds of people around Kensington over the years.
Our excellent moving solutions aren’t fancy—we just know how to pack a truck properly and how to carry a couch down stairs without banging up the doorframe. Been doing this since 2013. Your grandmother’s china cabinet gets the same care as our own stuff would. That’s just how we operate.
Why Local Matters
When you call Best of Utah Moving & Storage, you’re getting guys who already know where you live. We’ve been down your street. We’ve parked trucks in your neighborhood. We’ve figured out which buildings have freight elevators and which ones mean we’re hauling everything up three flights of stairs. Cameron Batty didn’t just wake up one day and decide to start a moving company.
He worked in this business for years, saw how other companies treated customers, and figured he could do better. Turns out he was right. Our reviews speak for themselves—we’re the top-rated moving company in Utah because we actually show up and do the work right.
What We Bring to Your Move
Packing, loading, transporting, unloading, storage—whatever you need. Moving your whole house? We’ve done it a thousand times. Just need help with the heavy furniture? That works too. Relocating your business? We handle commercial moves regularly. The price we tell you at the beginning is what you’ll pay at the end. No surprises, no extra charges that mysteriously appear. Our crews all speak English, which sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue with other companies.
Experience You Can Count On
Our guys have been doing this long enough that they can look at your stuff and know exactly how to handle it. They’ve moved pianos, antique wardrobes, glass tables, and entire home offices. They know how to wrap things properly and how to load a truck so nothing shifts around during the drive. Speed matters, but not at the expense of breaking your things.
About Kensington, UT
Kensington’s tucked away on Salt Lake City’s east side. Quiet streets, lots of trees, feels like an actual neighborhood instead of just houses crammed together. You’re close enough to downtown that it’s convenient, but far enough away that it stays peaceful. Good schools nearby, couple of parks, local coffee shop that people actually go to.
