Last month, we helped the Johnson family move three houses down the street because they wanted a bigger backyard for their kids. The month before that, we moved an elderly couple to a retirement community after 40 years in their Northpoint home.
Every move has its own story, and we’ve been part of hundreds of them since starting our business. When you need reliable moving services in Sandy, UT, or anywhere in the Salt Lake area, we’re the crew that shows up on time and gets your stuff where it needs to go without breaking it.
Why Choose Our Moving Team
Most moving companies send different crews every time. With Best of Utah Moving & Storage, you get the same experienced guys who’ve been working together for years. Dave’s been with us since 2015 and can fit a couch through any doorway. Mike knows how to pack dishes so they actually survive the trip. These aren’t random day laborers—they’re skilled professionals who take pride in their work. Your neighbors trust us because we’ve never given them a reason not to.
Local Moving Expertise
We’ve moved families out of every subdivision in Northpoint. We know which streets flood during spring runoff, where the low-hanging branches are, and which apartment complexes have the worst parking situations. Last week we moved someone from a third-floor walkup with no elevator—it took us four hours, but we got everything out safely. That kind of experience matters when you’re trusting someone with everything you own.
Full-Service Moving Solutions
Some companies just show up with a truck. We bring everything needed to do the job right. Our trucks are loaded with moving blankets, furniture pads, tie-down straps, and dollies that actually work. Need your piano moved? We have the equipment and know-how. Got a gun safe that weighs 800 pounds? We’ve moved dozens of them. Whatever you own, we’ve probably moved something like it before.
Transparent Pricing Promise
We give you a price, and we stick to it. No fine print, no surprise charges when we’re done. If we say your move will cost $800, that’s what you pay. We’ve been doing this long enough to know exactly what it takes to move a three-bedroom house or a small office. Our reputation depends on keeping our word, and after twelve years in business, we’re not about to start playing games with pricing.
About Northpoint
Northpoint attracts people who want the best of both worlds—suburban quiet with city convenience. The schools are solid, crime rates are low, and you can still get downtown in twenty minutes. Most of our customers here are families who bought their first home and are ready to upgrade, or empty nesters downsizing after their kids moved out. It’s the kind of neighborhood where people know their neighbors and actually like living there.
Ready to get your move scheduled? Call us for a free estimate and find out why half our business comes from referrals.
Once you’re in, this neighborhood starts to feel like home fast. Morning dog walks, friendly waves from neighbors, quiet streets at night. If you’re still unpacking boxes a week later, that’s fine—most people are. You’ll figure out the best spots for coffee, hikes, or where to grab food when you’re too tired to cook.
We might not stick around after the move, but Best of Utah Moving wants to make sure you land on the right foot. A good start in your new place makes all the difference.
